Yusei Matsui is the author and illustrator of the Japanese science fiction comedic manga series Assassination Classroom. The series chronicles the daily lives of a powerful octopus-like entity who works as a junior high homeroom teacher and his students committed to assassinating him to save Earth from destruction.
The children are labelled "misfits" at their school and are taught in a separate facility; the class he teaches is 3-E.
